Partridges Thursday 10th September £ 120 per handler

Pheasants Wednesday 7th October £130 per handler

'Young Handlers Day' 5th September 2026. POSTPONED

We are testing out the interest amongst members for a training day aimed at young handlers aged 8 upwards, who have a working gundog at home, and would like to 'have a go'! If you have someone you'd like to bring - please register your interest at chairman.wdwgc@gmail.com. Please note that all young handlers attending must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or guardian at all times during the day. Venue South Devon tbc. Max 10 participants.

KC Working Gundog Certificate 27th September 2026 Nr Yealmpton. Max 12 places for Retrievers & Spaniels.

Aimed at Novice Handlers and novice dogs, this is an assessment of the readiness of you & your gundog to go out on a shoot, beating or picking up. You will recieve either a 'pass' or, a 'not ready yet' with guidance on what needs to be worked on. Cost £25.00.
